Emission Fault Indicator

When the vehicle is in ON mode, this indicator illuminates during the system self-check. If it lights up at any other time, a vehicle control system may have malfunctioned. Continuing to drive could cause serious damage. If the light comes on outside of the self-check sequence, safely pull over to the side of the road, power off the vehicle to OFF mode, then power back on to OK mode and restart to check the indicator. If the warning light remains on, have your vehicle inspected at a BYD authorised service centre as soon as possible.

Until the fault has been diagnosed at a BYD authorised service centre, drive with caution and avoid high speeds or driving with the windows fully open. If this warning light illuminates frequently—even if it goes off after following the reset steps above—arrange for your vehicle to be inspected at a BYD authorised service centre.
