GPF Regeneration Required Indicator

Your petrol particulate filter (GPF) has accumulated excess soot and is actively regenerating (self-cleaning), indicated by a solid green warning light. When road conditions permit, drive on highways or open roads to allow the engine to complete the burn-off process — the light will turn off automatically once finished. Note: In DM-i models, extensive EV driving may trigger an automatic engine start for maintenance purposes, displaying the message: "Engine automatically started for engine maintenance."

Drive on highways or open roads where safe to do so, ensuring the petrol engine remains running continuously until the filter cleaning cycle completes and the warning light extinguishes automatically. No visit to a service centre is required.
