What does this warning light mean?
This warning light indicates low engine oil pressure. If it flashes or stays illuminated while driving, pull over to a safe location and switch off the engine immediately. The light will also come on when the engine oil level is critically low.

What to do
Contact an authorised BYD service centre. Do not drive the vehicle while this warning light is on, even for a short distance, as this may cause serious engine damage. The light may flash occasionally while the engine is idling, or illuminate briefly after heavy braking. If the light extinguishes as the engine revs increase, the oil pressure is normal and no fault is present.
