Motor Overtemperature
WarningBYD · Thermal Management
What does this warning light mean?
This indicates your drive motor is overheating. This may occur during sustained high-load driving (such as long uphill stretches or frequent rapid acceleration) or due to a cooling system fault. The system will automatically limit power output to protect the motor.

What to do
Reduce speed and avoid heavy acceleration, or safely pull over and allow the motor to cool. If this warning appears frequently, have your vehicle inspected at an authorised BYD service centre to check the motor cooling system.
