What does this warning light mean?
If this light illuminates, your high-voltage battery is overheating and you must pull over immediately to allow it to cool. A flashing warning light indicates a critical situation – stop the vehicle safely and evacuate as soon as possible. The battery may overheat during: extended uphill driving in hot weather; prolonged stop-start traffic with frequent rapid acceleration and heavy braking; or continuous operation without adequate rest periods.

Pull over to a safe location immediately and allow the battery to cool. If the warning light is flashing, stop the vehicle safely, evacuate immediately, move well away from the vehicle, and contact BYD roadside assistance or call Triple Zero (000). Do not continue driving.
